Forecast Notes
See also the main Yosemite Valley Forecast. This forecast is meant to provide additional information from a second forecasting region. Inside Yosemite National Park, all forecasts are issued by the forecasters in Hanford. However, the Yosemite forecast region is at the northern limit of their forecast zone, whereas it is at the southern limit of the forecast zone for the forecasters in Sacramento. This forecast is for the same altitude as Yosemite Valley, but just outside of the park boundary and within the Sacramento forecast zone. So effectively, the main Yosemite Valley weather forecast is the Hanford-based forecast for the region for 4002 feet. This forecast is the Sacramento-based forecast for the same altitude, but for a forecast area a few miles to the northwest.

Today: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 54. South wind 11 to 16 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Tonight: Rain and snow showers before 11pm, then a chance of snow showers between 11pm and 4am. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 30. Southwest wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Sunday: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 46. Light and variable wind becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 33. West northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 56. Light and variable wind becoming west southwest 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 38.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 60.
