If you search the National Weather Service site for "Yosemite Village" (or "95389" if searching by zip code), it gives you a forecast for 4,759 feet, which is roughly 779 feet above the Valley floor in Yosemite Village. This is because the average elevation of the forecast grid centered on Yosemite Village is 4,759 feet. However, because these forecasts are algorithmically adjusted for elevation, I think that forecast reads slightly cool for the Valley floor. This forecast is adjusted from there by choosing a point on the map within Yosemite Valley, a short distances from the village, to get the forecast for 4002 feet, which is quite close to the level of the meadows at the East end of the Valley. You should note, however, that there can be a considerable difference between the temperatures between the sunny side (North) and shady side (South) of the Valley. Note that we also have an alternative forecast for this altitude from the Sacramento forecasters as opposed to the Hanford forecasters that generate this one.
